From November 24 1942 news of Hitlers plans to exterminate
European Jews was
freely available to anyone in the US concerned about
their plight. Yet a US Treasury
Department report alleges that the US State Department
spent much of 1943 not
only bystanding as the Nazis carried out Hitler's
plans, but also sabotaging nascent
plans to rescue some of Europe's persecuted Jews.
