Hypertext refers to a more dynamic form of written presentation designed exclusively for the use of the internet. The dynamic nature of hypertext can be demonstrated by the flexibility of the medium when conveying information. Hypertext does not limit itself to text that is static and cannot be read into, but embedded into the concept of hypertext is the link. The link ensures that text does not remain fixed; readers of hypertext can click on links and be transported to another site or other sections within the text. Clicking on these links at different times may form a different opinion of the information presented and it is hoped that by exploring the site in several different ways, several perspectives of viewing the Little Rock Central High incident will be formed.
