JAZZ STYLES MAP HISTORY INDUSTRY Map of styles from  North Western University, U.S.A.  Their website gives descriptions of each of the styles. This is a timeline which shows the progression of Jazz, Blues and European Classical Music throughout the century.  Each genre is classified due to the time when it was established until it became 'superseded' by the next style.
